Reports Overview
One of the best things about how HQ is constructed is we take a data forward approach. We enforce the integrity of the data by requiring each appointment is checked out at the end of each day. For most of the reports, only checked out appointments are included. This makes and keeps your data pristine.
In the HVSN world, grants, vouchers, discounts, and donations are a part of the everyday. Having clear and concise reporting makes applying for a grant or turning in reporting on one use so much easier! Reports are not just for grants, of course. There are lots of other extremely beneficial details available in this section of HQ to help manage your clinic.

Standard Reports
We have created a set of standardized reports covering everything from surgery counts and grant usage to mortality rates, rechecks, and a variety of other key metrics. Nearly all reports can be exported to Microsoft Excel.
- Patient Metrics & Master Report – Surgery summaries, animal totals, appointment breakdowns, and the complete Master Report.
- Data Exports – Microchip and rabies vaccination exports for registries and regulatory reporting.
- Service Metrics & Item Prep – Monthly service counts by category, and supply prep for upcoming clinic days.
- Volume Client Metrics – Surgery statistics broken down by volume client.
- Geographic Metrics – Visual map of client locations and service reach.
- Executive Director Metrics – High-level clinic and vet performance data.
- Funding Reports – Partnership metrics, donations, and subsidies summary.
