CHQ Grants

Clinic HQ is committed to supporting organizations doing important work in their communities. We recognize that subscription costs can be especially challenging for smaller nonprofit clinics and organizations working with limited resources.

To help make Clinic HQ accessible to organizations where the cost of software may otherwise be a barrier, we offer free Clinic HQ subscription grants to qualifying nonprofit clinics. Grants are available through three programs based on the populations served, clinic size, and location.

Available Grants

1. Rez Care Grant: Available to nonprofit clinics providing services primarily to dogs and cats living on Native American reservations. To qualify, at least 80% of the clinic's patients must meet this criteria.
2. Small but Mighty Grant: Available to smaller nonprofit clinics booking fewer than 600 appointments per year.
3. One World Grant: Available to qualifying international nonprofit organizations providing veterinary services in war-torn and/or highly impoverished countries.

Applying for a CHQ Grant

If you believe your clinic qualifies for one of the grants above:

1. Open a support ticket through Fin under Help & Support.
2. Let our team know which grant you believe your organization qualifies for.
3. Provide any relevant information about your organization, patient population, appointment volume, or service area that may help us determine eligibility.
4. Our team will review your request and your Clinic HQ account to confirm that the applicable eligibility requirements are met.
5. If approved, the grant will cover your Clinic HQ software subscription for 12 months.

Grants are awarded for one year at a time. After the 12-month grant period ends, you may contact our team to request another eligibility review.

Continued grant eligibility is not automatic and will be based on whether your organization still meets the applicable grant requirements at the time of review.

What the Grant Covers

HQ Grants cover the cost of the clinic's Clinic HQ software subscription for the approved 12-month grant period.

Optional add-ons and services are not included in the grant and have their own associated fees. This includes features such as the Shelter Integration Add-On and Call & Text Add-On.

These add-ons are optional and do not need to be enabled to utilize CHQ, though they may save your team significant time.

If your clinic chooses to enable an add-on, your organization will be responsible for any applicable subscription, usage, or other fees associated with that service.

Social Media Requirement

As part of the grant program, participating organizations are asked to make one social media post during their 12-month grant period highlighting a Clinic HQ feature that helps support their clinic's work or mission.

The post can focus on any feature that has made a difference for your organization. For example, you might share how Clinic HQ makes it easier for clients to schedule appointments, helps your team manage a busy clinic day, or gives supporters an easy way to contribute to your mission through integrated donation tools.
