Mapping QuickBooks®’ codes to Services and Products
Under Settings > Quickbooks, you can input accounting codes to keep track of the receivables through the Financial Export. These often correspond to QuickBooks account codes. You will do this for each tab: Surgery Types, Vaccines, Services, Products, and Item Sales.
To set them up,
- Go to Settings > Quickbooks.
- On this page are all the items enabled for your clinic. You can bind up to 4 account codes corresponding to a single item.
- Enter in your codes for each item, then click Save Changes.
Once configured, these codes will appear in the Financial Export under Accounting > Reports > Financial Export.

Importing data from the Financial Export to Quickbooks®
CHQ doesn’t offer support on importing data to Quickbooks®. If you have any questions, please get support from your vendor.
In HQ, we provide all the raw data you need. With the ability to insert Quickbooks® account codes, you can create an excel file with the item codes and values you want to import to Quickbooks®. It should match all columns from the form you want to import.
Here is a help document we've found which may provide insight into how to import your data into Quickbooks. https://community.intuit.com/articles/1458771-import-or-export-list-data-in-quickbooks-online
