8.1.1. Canceling SN, Basic Wellness & Recheck

These three appointment types can all be canceled using the same process.

Method 1: From the Calendar (Fastest Way)

1. Open the Spay/Neuter Calendar.
2. Click on the date of the appointment.
3. Select Appointment Changes.
4. Click Cancel and follow the prompts.

❌ Important: Clients do not receive a notification when appointments are canceled this way.

Method 2: From Quick Search

1. Open the Quick Search tool in the navigation panel.
2. Search for the owner’s name or animal’s name.
3. From the results, open the animal’s record.
4. Go to the Appointments tab.
5. Select the Action button for the appointment.
6. Click Cancel.

✅ Pro Tip: If the appointment has a deposit, you must handle it first (delete, repurpose, or refund) before canceling.
