Clinic HQ does not have a separate inventory tracking system built into the software, but there are ways to help you track inventory items through our reporting tools.

Custom Reports

One way to help track inventory in HQ is to run Custom Report and filter it by Service Items.

  1. Go to Reports > Custom Reports.
  2. Choose the date range and set to All Animals.
  3. Add the filter Service Items.
  4. Select the items you want to report on, then Save Filter.
  5. Click Run Report to generate a preview or Run to Excel to download the report.

Item Prep

The Item Prep report can help identify a few different aspects of inventory and preparing for ordering supplies:

  • Estimate the number of surgeries for your upcoming surgery day.
  • Estimate the number of upcoming vaccines, microchips, or other products needed for wellness clinics.
  • Help with assessing when to order clinic supplies.
